On Friday, we officially kicked off the 54th academic year at UIS. This year is certain to be full of excitement and new beginnings as we have welcomed students from more than 40 states and over 50 countries. As students from near and far begin or continue their journey at UIS, it is with great excitement that the Division of Student Affairs gets to assist them with ensuring an enriching experience.

Entering new environments can be daunting, but they also provide a unique opportunity to bring fresh perspectives and directions. As we stand on the threshold of a new academic year, I am excited to share with you our unwavering commitment to fostering student success and strengthening the bond between our campus and the community we proudly serve."
