The UIS men's soccer program has announced the addition of Joe Conway as an assistant coach. He will join first-year head coach Graham Shaw as they build a strong foundation for the future of the program.

"I am delighted to be beginning my coaching career here at UIS," shared Conway. "I want to achieve coaching success here at a program that I represented as a player. Graham and I have an exciting group here this fall with a mix of experience, ability, and real potential. We are extremely confident in the group, and believe we will bring success to the program this fall, and moving forward."

Conway was previously a member of the UIS men's soccer team in the 2023 season and was a leading member of the team's offensive production.

In his role as an assistant coach, Conway will leverage his comprehensive knowledge of soccer and his recent hands-on experience. His responsibilities will include developing and implementing training programs, assisting in game strategy and tactical analysis, and fostering the athletic and personal growth of student-athletes. Additionally, Conway will contribute to recruitment efforts and practice coordination.

Conway holds a Bachelor of Arts in University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University and is currently working towards his Master of Business Administration at UIS.
