The UIS women's golf team delivered a solid performance at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, capturing fifth place. The team improved significantly from a first-round score of 327 to a 306 in the second round, bringing their total to 633 strokes.

Tournament Recap
  • Elaine Grant led the Prairie Stars with rounds of 78 and 69, totaling 147 and placing her in third individually
  • Sara Prieto followed with rounds of 81 and 77, for a 158 total while Arya Gadeker totaled 159 strokes after rounds of 83 and 76
  • Ira Joshi posted 85 in both rounds for a total score of 170
  • Isabelle Segal rounded out the team, improving her first-round 89 to an 84, finishing with 173 strokes
