The UIS women's golf team will head to Lemont, Illinois, for the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on Oct. 7-8. Hosted by conference foe Lewis, the tournament will feature ten teams, including several from the GLVC. The Prairie Stars are coming off a 15th-place finish at the William Beall Invitational, where they posted a combined score of 947 (315, 316, 316) over three rounds.
Elaine Grant continues to lead the way for UIS, tying for 25th at Findlay last week with a three-round total of 228. Arya Gadekar, Sara Prieto, Ira Joshi, and Isabelle Segal will look to build on their recent performances as they face key regional opponents in the upcoming two-day, two-round event.
