The UIS women's golf team is in Smithville, Mo. at the start of the week, playing in William Jewell's Kansas City Cup at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.
The golfers will play two rounds on Monday starting at 8:00 a.m., then one final round starting Tuesday morning. The Prairie Stars lineup features Elaine Grant, Arya Gadekar, Sara Prieto, Ira Joshi, and Isabelle Segal.
In their last outing at the Midwest Ladies Collegiate on Sept. 9-10, the Prairie Stars finished 13th out of 16 teams. Elaine Grant was the standout performer, finishing 16th individually with impressive scores of 79, 77, and 72.
