The Illinois Springfield women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat against McKendree on Friday. With the loss, UIS now stands at 5-5-3 overall and 5-4-1 in conference play.
"Credit to McKendree and their staff for putting together a full performance tonight," said UIS head coach Scott Myers. "I am happy with the strides we are making this season and very proud of how this team is continuing to take steps forward with our quality of play. We will get back at it and prepare to meet a talented Maryville team."
