"Lizzie Roehrs is completing work on her master's degree in communications at University of Illinois Springfield. She completed the video project in part as a tribute to the stadium and its history but she also wanted to recognize the many people who contributed to the unique baseball history of the stadium. As Roehrs learned through her research, "The ball park on the north end is something special and deserves its place in Springfield." The video will have its premiere 6 p.m. Friday, May 12, on the UIS Campus, University Hall Building. The presentation is open to the public."
