A weekend of road competitions awaits the UIS volleyball, soccer, and cross country teams. Fans can follow all the action with live statistics available for each event, accessible through the online schedule for each sport.

Friday, Oct. 18
TBA - Volleyball at Midwest Region Crossover
The Prairie Stars will travel to Hammond, Ind., for the 2024 Midwest Region Crossover, featuring 38 NCAA Division II volleyball teams from the GLVC, GMAC, and GLIAC conferences. UIS kicks off the tournament against Ohio Dominican (7-8) at 11:30 a.m., followed by a match against Purdue Northwest (4-11) at 4:30 p.m. 

Last season, UIS went 3-0 at the tournament, securing victories against Wayne State (3-1), Trevecca Nazarene (3-1), and Cedarville (3-2). Currently, the Prairie Stars hold an 11-5 record and a 3-2 mark in conference play, coming off a loss to the No. 22-ranked Quincy Hawks.

1:30 p.m - Men's Cross Country at Bradley Pink Classic
UIS competes in the B race at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday afternoon. The Prairie Stars will race an 8k at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill., against opponents from NCAA DI, DII, and DIII.

2:15 p.m. - Women's Cross Country at Bradley Pink Classic
UIS competes in the B race at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday afternoon. The Prairie Stars will race a 6k at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill., against opponents from NCAA DI, DII, and DIII.

5:00 p.m. - Women's Soccer at McKendree
UIS heads to Lebanon, Ill., for a matchup against the McKendree Bearcats. McKendree has reached as high as No. 13 in national rankings this season but has recently fallen out after a 1-3-1 stretch in their last five games. Both the Prairie Stars and Bearcats currently hold an identical conference record of 5-3-1. Over the weekend, UIS split their games, losing 2-1 to UMSL but bouncing back to defeat Lincoln 6-1.

7:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer at McKendree
The Prairie Stars face the Bearcats in a Friday night matchup in Lebanon, Ill. McKendree is currently ranked No. 7 nationally and remains unbeaten this season, with a record of 5-0-4 in GLVC play. Meanwhile, the Prairie Stars sit at 4-2-3 following a draw with UMSL and a loss to Lincoln over the weekend.

Saturday, Oct. 19
TBA - Volleyball at Midwest Region Crossover
The Prairie Stars wrap up competition at the annual crossover tournament with an 11:30 a.m. match against Cedarville. The Yellow Jackets from the GMAC are 7-6 this fall while UIS is 11-5.

Sunday, Oct. 20
12:00 p.m. Women's Soccer at Maryville
UIS travels to St. Louis, Mo., to face one of the GLVC's top teams, the No. 13-ranked Maryville Saints. The Saints are 8-0-2, 7-0-1 against conference opponents. They are coming off a 1-1 tie against McKendree, and will play Indianapolis on Friday Night before hosting UIS on Sunday, 

2:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer at Maryville
The Prairie Stars will face the Maryville Saints, led by former UIS head coach Adam Hall, who has guided the Saints to a 6-4-2 record this fall. Currently, Maryville sits fourth in the GLVC standings with a 5-2-1 conference record, while UIS is in fifth place at 4-2-3. Before facing UIS on Sunday, Maryville will host GLVC leader Indianapolis on Friday night.
