The fall 2024 regular season begins for the UIS men's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, and volleyball teams this week. The women's soccer and cross country programs will host competitions on campus in the later half of the week. 

Tuesday, Sept. 3
All Day - Men's Golf at Arch Cup
The UMSL Tritons will host the Arch Cup at Gateway National G.C. in Madison, Ill. 

4:30 p.m. - Meet the UIS Soccer Coaches
Meet the UIS Soccer Coaches is an opportunity for fans, alumni, and community members to engage with head coaches Scott Myers and Graham Shaw and hear their vision for the upcoming season.

Thursday, Sept. 5
2:30 p.m. - Women's Soccer vs. University of Findlay (HOME)
The Prairie Stars host the Oilers on Thursday afternoon for their regular-season opener. UIS leads UF 2-1-1 all-time, including last season's draw at Findlay.

Friday, Sept. 6
9:00 a.m. - Volleyball vs. Purdue Northwest
The Prairie Stars begin the season with a match against Purdue Northwest at St. Edward's University's Hilltopper Classic. The Prairie Stars lead the Pride 2-0 all-time, having swept them in both previous meetings, which occurred in 2019 and 2021.

3:00 p.m. - Softball vs. Lincoln Land Community College
The Prairie Stars host the loggers for a fall matchup at the UIS Softball Complex.

4:30 p.m. - Volleyball vs. University of Arkansas Monticello
UIS volleyball will play Arkansas-Monticello in their second match of the day. UIS and UAM met for the first time in the 2023 season, where the Prairie Stars won 3-0.

5:30 p.m. - Women's Cross Country at Hy-Vee Prairie Stars Invitational (HOME)
The Prairie Stars will host their annual invitational on Friday evening, this time featuring several conference opponents. UIS took first place at the meet in 2023.

6:15 p.m. - Men's Cross Country at Hy-Vee Prairie Stars Invitational (HOME)
The Prairie Stars look to win their annual home invitational for the seventh consecutive year. The meet is one of two home meets this season for the UIS cross country program as the UIS Cross Country Course is also the site of the GLVC Cross Country Championships, set for Oct. 26. 

Saturday, Sept. 7
11:30 a.m. - Volleyball vs. Newman University
The Prairie Stars continue competition at the Hilltopper Classic on Saturday morning, meeting the Newman Jets for the first time in program history. 

7:00 p.m. - Volleyball vs. St. Edward's University
The Prairie Stars wrap up the weekend's tournament against the host school. It is also a first-time meeting for the programs.

Sunday, Sept. 8 
1:00 p.m.- Women's Soccer vs. University of Central Missouri (HOME)
The UIS Prairie Stars will host the UCM Jennies for a first-time meeting between the programs. UCM is ranked No. 21 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason coaches' poll.

1:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer at Purdue Northwest
The UIS men's soccer team will go on the road against Purdue Northwest on Sunday. The teams last met a year ago when PNW defeated UIS 2-1 in Hammond, Ind.
