It's Homecoming Week at UIS! The UIS volleyball team begins conference play, while both soccer teams build on their strong starts in the GLVC. Men's golf heads to Indianapolis early in the week for the UIndy Fall Invitational while the women's team competes in the Kansas City Cup at the same time. Additionally, the men's tennis team will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich., to compete in the ITA Regional hosted by Davenport. Cross country is on a break until the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, Oct. 12. 

Monday, Sept. 23
All Day - Women's Golf at Kansas City Cup
The Prairie Stars continue the fall season at the tournament hosted by GLVC opponent William Jewell. UIS will compete against nine GLVC teams over 54 holes on Monday and Tuesday.

All Day - Men's Golf at UIndy Fall Invitational
The Prairie Stars will compete alongside eight other teams at Broadmoor Country Club on Monday and Tuesday for their second tournament of the fall season. The event is hosted by the UIndy Greyhounds, who are currently receiving votes in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll.

Tuesday, Sept. 24
All Day - Women's Golf at Kansas City Cup
The final round of the Kansas City Cup will be played Tuesday morning.

The final round of the UIndy Fall Invitational will be played Tuesday morning.

Friday, Sept. 27
3:00 p.m. - Pep Rally Block Party at UIS Student Union South Patio

5:00 p.m. - Women's Soccer vs. Southwest Baptist (HOME) / Homecoming
The first game of Homecoming Week features the Prairie Stars and Bearcats' women's soccer teams. UIS holds a 4-0-1 all-time record against SBU, with the lone tie occurring during last year's Homecoming game. The Prairie Stars have found their rhythm, posting a 2-0-1 record to start conference play.

6:00 p.m. - Volleyball vs. Missouri S&T (HOME) / Youth Night
UIS is set to host the Missouri S&T Miners in their home opener. The Prairie Stars posted an impressive 8-3 record before entering conference play, although they went 1-2 at the PSU Regional Challenge this past weekend. The Miners have claimed victory in the last two encounters between the teams, with UIS's last win over Missouri S&T occurring early in the 2022 season.

7:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer vs. Southwest Baptist (HOME) / Homecoming
UIS hosts SBU for their Homecoming matchup, a team they lead 4-0 all-time.  Last year, the Prairie Stars dominated the Bearcats 7-0 during Homecoming, with Brian Riordan delivering a hat trick. The Prairie Stars have kicked off conference play with a record of 2-0-1 this season, which includes victories this past weekend against Truman State and Quincy.

9:00 p.m. - Bonfire and Fireworks at TRAC

Saturday, Sept. 28
All Day - Men's Tennis at ITA Regional
The Prairie Stars are set to face off against regional opponents at the ITA Regional Small College Championships. Singles and doubles competitions both begin on Saturday.

1:00 p.m. - Softball vs. St. Louis Community College (HOME)
UIS softball hosts the STLCC Archers for a fall game at the UIS Softball Complex.

3:00 p.m. - Volleyball vs. Maryville (HOME) / Homecoming
The Prairie Stars will host the Saints at TRAC on Saturday afternoon for their Homecoming match. UIS holds a 15-4 all-time record against Maryville, though they lost 3-1 in their last meeting during the 2023 season. The Prairie Stars look for a Homecoming win as they continue their best start to a season.

Sunday, Sept. 29
All Day - Men's Tennis at ITA Regional
Prairie Stars advancing from the first rounds of singles or doubles will continue competition on Sunday, with consolation rounds also scheduled to take place.

12:00 p.m. - Women's Soccer vs Rockhurst University (HOME) / Jersey Day
GLVC play continues Sunday afternoon when the Prairie Stars welcome the Hawks to Kiwanis Stadium. UIS trails 13-2 in the all-time series against the Hawks, though they won the last meeting 3-1 in 2023.

2:30 p.m. - Men's Soccer vs. Rockhurst University (HOME) / Jersey Day
GLVC play continues at Kiwanis Stadium as UIS faces the Hawks. Although UIS trails 16-7-2 in their all-time series since 1979, they won the last encounter, securing the win with a penalty kick in 2023.
