The UIS women's indoor track & field team will compete this Friday, Jan. 24, at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic, held at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.

Meet Preview
Bellarmine University is hosting 18 schools for the indoor meet, featuring opponents such as Southern Indiana, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, and Ball State.

UIS brings strong lineup of distance runners, featuring multiple entries in the 3,000-meter run, along with participants in the 800m and mile events. The meet will feature seeded divisions for select events, including the 3,000m, 800m, and mile. Notably, Kaleigh Inniss and Madelyn Miller will race in the women's seeded division of the 3,000m later Friday afternoon.

Last Weekend
The UIS women's indoor track & field team delivered impressive performances at their season-opening meets in Indianapolis. Madelyn Miller ran the 3,000-meter race at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic in 10:08.52, a time that ranks her second in the GLVC. Kaleigh Inniss competed in the 5,000-meter event, finishing with a time of 17:54.32, which places her ninth in the conference. Overall, the Prairie Stars showcased strong depth in the 5,000m, with three athletes ranking among the league's top 18.
