Our job is to be a two-way conduit of information between Civil Service employees and University administration.
If you have questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us collectively using the CSAC mailbox, or individually using members email accounts.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) is to unite employees, provide a positive space to share concerns and explore solutions, amplify the collective voice of civil service employees, and promote collaboration between the university civil service employees and University Administration.
CSAC utilizes its’ collective experience and knowledge to serve as a resource to university employees and as an advisory body for University Administration in the formation and implementation of policies and procedures relating to civil service employees. Members of this body study and make recommendations regarding campus conditions of employment, challenges, and opportunities at the request of civil service employees, campus administration, or upon its own initiative.
The CSAC utilizes its’ platform through the service of elected/appointed representatives to campus governance, advisory committees, and University Employee Advisory Committee of the State Universities Civil Service Merit Board. The Council provides a conduit for effective communication between civil service employees and University Administration and strives to maintain a positive, growth-minded relationship with all university stakeholders.
