Margaritta Fultz joined the Enrollment Management team on July 15, 2019 to serve as the Administrative Aide to the Associate Provost for EM after having served as the Assistant Director for the Annual Fund, Young Alumni and Student Philanthropy at Knox College. For 20+ years, she lived in Macomb, IL, the home of Western Illinois University, where she served as the Administrative Aide for the Vice President for Quad Cities and University Planning, President’s Executive Institute planning staff on the Moline campus, served as Board of Trustees staff, and for 10 years served as the Office Support Specialist in the Office of the President under two WIU presidents.
Other roles she served in where she was “all-in” were the only Pepsi Girl merchandising for Refreshment Services Pepsi, Quincy (night job), Bank teller (in Springfield, Chase and Macomb, Citizen’s National Bank) over 8 years, and numerous nonprofit volunteer and faith-based activities. Circling back to work for her grad school Alma Mater, UIS, was a deliberate and strategic action for which she is truly grateful. She holds a Board of Trustees BA from WIU, an MPA from UIS, and she is currently an Industrial/Organizational Psychology PhD student at Adler U. All free time is focused on being present to her faith, her family, friends, freedom/social justice activities, studying, writing, and letting people know about educational opportunities at UIS to widen our institutional footprint.
