Richard H. Moy, M.D., former dean of the SIU medical school, and his sons Philip B. Moy, Ph.D., and Eric R. Moy, J.D., have created an endowed fund at the University of Illinois Springfield in honor of their wife and mother Dr. Caryl T. Moy. The fund will support approved collaborative research projects involving at least one faculty member from UIS and one faculty member from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Caryl Moy taught for 21 years at UIS (then Sangamon State University) beginning in 1970. She also served as clinical professor at the SIU Medical School.
