Kent Redfield, a leading researcher of campaign contributions in Illinois, professor emeritus at UIS and former director of its legislative intern program, left such an indelible mark on his students that two of them began the process to establish a scholarship in his name. The Kent Redfield Scholarship is awarded to a qualified applicant based on academic merit and financial need.
