This scholarship was created in Dr. Leonard Branson's honor as he prepareds for his retirement. Dr. Branson has taught in the Accountancy Department at UIS for 30 years, including 17 years as Chair. He received the Faculty Excellence Award from UIS in 2013-2014 and the William Winter Award for Outstanding Advocacy Leadership in 2011 from the University of Illinois Foundation. He was and still is an excellent teacher and scholar with many publications, training seminars, conference presentations and commissioned reports. Throughout his career, he has been generous with his time and skills in mentoring junior faculty and students. Please give generously to this fund in his honor.
