This fund provides support for Athletics at the University of Illinois at Springfield. IT is named after Springfield native and long-time resident Paul O'Shea. He was a licensed architect who retired as planning and design coordinator for the City of Springfield. O'Shea has been a tireless advocate for UIS, serving as an ambassador building relationships between Springfield and UIS. He has provided financial support to UIS since 1998 and often gives to many university funds, especially for athletics. This scholarship provides support for Athletics at UIS.
