This fund shall be used to provide Student Aid to undergraduate students and/or fellowships to graduate students who are enrolled at UIS. The recipients may be enrolled in any curriculum, but the Student Aid/fellowships shall be awarded to students who are participants in one or more of the music programs or groups sponsored by the University. The recipients of the Student Aid/fellowships shall be selected based upon financial need and/or academic merit, and they may be renewed as long as the recipients remain qualified and continue to satisfy all of the appropriate criteria. In the event the University of Illinois at Springfield should offer majors in one or more programs in music then preference in the awarding of the Student Aid/fellowships shall be given to those students with a declared major in music with first preference given to those who are enrolled in voice.
