In December 2015, Bill Hoffman MA ‘ 01 LAS, announced the creation of the Ted Mims Scholarship Fund for computer science Student Aid. The fund created a permanent legacy at the University of Illinois Springfield for Dr. Ted Mims, head of the Computer Science Department. Bill Hoffman chose to honor Dr. Mims because of Dr. Mims' role in Bill's success. Over the years, Ted Mims has been fond of saying, “I have love and concern for all my students.” If you know this to be true in your own life, please add your recognition through a gift to the Ted Mims Scholarship Fund.
