Recipients must be majoring in Accounting, planning for a career in Accounting and also must be intending to sit for the CPA exam.

Amount: $125
Number of enrolled hours: 4
Grade point average: 3.25
Preferred class: undergraduate

Accountancy Program Marshals – 2019

Jenna Upchurch of Springfield, IL (undergraduate), Kayla Mackie-Carlson of Washington, IL (undergraduate) and Michelle Dankoski of Hillsboro, IL (graduate) were selected by Accountancy faculty to serve as program marshals for the University of Illinois Springfield’s 48th commencement ceremony  on May 11, 2019. Marshals are selected for their academic excellence.

UIS Accountancy program gets Top 10% national ranking in CollegeFactual’s 2019 Best Value Colleges in Accounting

he Accountancy program at the University of Illinois at Springfield has been ranked as a “Best Value for the Money” in the annual nationwide ranking of U.S. colleges and universities by College Factual. According to 2019 results, the UIS Accountancy program is ranked #49 out of 601 programs at colleges and universities in the United States reviewed as “Best for the Money.” This placed the program in the Top 10% of all such programs in the country reviewed by College Factual for value.
