Assemble Goodie Bags for 2023 Move-In

Help provide a warm welcome to new students this fall by filling out Welcome Cards. Stop by the Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center (Student Union 103) and pick up as many as you would like to complete. We have a goal of 200!

Take them back to your office, or stop by and fill them out in the Student Union. Students have enjoyed receiving these the past two years, and we would love to have your help in making it happen again this year.

Please return completed cards by Thursday, July 27 to ensure they are included in new student goodie bags.

Lunch at the Lake

On Tuesday, August 8, come spend your lunch hour enjoying the scenery at the Field House, just steps away from campus! Bring your own lunch and take part in lawn games or go on a Field Station Lab tour. Cookies will also be available.

Information Session on Budget Appropriation

Friday, May 12, I am hosting an information session in the Studio Theatre and by Zoom from 3 to 4 p.m. for faculty and staff who want to learn more about the appropriation process for our university’s budget. Paul Ellinger, vice president/chief financial officer and comptroller of the University of Illinois System, will be our featured presenter.
