This spring, UIS is offering faculty and staff the opportunity to attend another on-campus Professional Development Retreat as part of our Rise initiative. This semester’s retreat will take place Friday, March 1, and is focused on Redefining Workplace Culture.

Join COLRS staff to learn about navigating the Canvas interface and the foundational tools for organizing and building a course at UIS. Topics covered include: navigating, communicating with students, creating modules and assignments, and gradebook.

The Employee of the Year celebration is scheduled for 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 in the Student Union Ballroom. Register by Jan. 19 and mark your calendars to come out and support your colleagues!

2023 Employees of the Month

All faculty and staff are invited to a Holiday Happy Hour from 4-5 on December 19 in the Student Union Ballroom. There will be music, drinks and appetizers to celebrate the season!
