The Career Development Center provides varying degrees of service to alumni based on packages which they can purchase for a nominal fee, as well as some free resources.

Recently Graduated Alumni = Graduated within 6 months.

Alumni = Graduate more than 6 months previously.

What to wear to a Career Fair

Career fairs are a great place to meet your future employer. Make sure to make a great impression the minute they see you. Business casual attire is required for this year’s Career Fair. Business professional attire is also acceptable.

Business Casual

Business casual means that you should appear professional and “pulled together” yet somewhat relaxed. Suits are not required. However, make sure that your clothes are free of wrinkles and tears. Here are some general guidelines:

Career Connections Expo

The Career Connections Expo is an annual event hosted by the the University of Illinois Springfield. The event takes in the Spring semester.  It is a great way to connect students, alumni, and community job seekers with employers who are looking for candidates for jobs, internships, and future connections.
