Dear UIS Colleagues:
Dear UIS Colleagues —
It is National Volunteer Month, and I am always excited to see how dedicated our university is to serving the community and each other. This week, volunteers have the fun task of assisting and judging Springfest activities. Many of you have committed to volunteering for one or both of the upcoming UIS Commencement ceremonies in May. If you’re still looking for a volunteer activity this month, the UIS Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center has many opportunities available.

By late March, a very small number of individuals continued to live or work on campus.

Dear UIS Colleagues –
Happy second official day of spring! I hope you had an enjoyable spring break; whether you spent some time away from central Illinois or just had the opportunity to get outside in the spring-like weather, I hope you are refreshed and energized. Good luck to the students and faculty involved in accelerated courses, which begin today.
