Dear Campus Community,
It's Giving Tuesday! How will you make a difference today?
This Giving Tuesday, we are calling on our community to come together and support students at UIS. Your gift today has the power to change lives – by providing scholarships, funding research and enhancing the overall student experience.
As UIS, we are dedicated to developing the leaders of tomorrow. Whether students are conducting innovative research or preparing to enter the workforce, your support makes these opportunities possible.
In our ongoing efforts to streamline the student transfer experience, we’re sharing information related to the course transfer process. Two ways that you can help improve the student transfer experience are by:

International Education Week (IEW) is promoted by the US Department of State and the US Department of Education. Both departments suggest it to be from November 18 to 22 this year. The aims are to prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. Our excellent offices and departments on campus support the initiative with providing events related to international education.
It’s time to start planning your 2025 Academic Summer Camp!
The University of Illinois Springfield hosts academic summer camps each year to help area high school students explore career options, gain practical skills through hands-on learning and have an unforgettable summer experience. Greetings Campus Community,
The water has been shut off to all floors of PAC Tower 2 due to an unexpected plumbing problem discovered this afternoon. Our crews are actively working on repairs.
Please note that Towers 1 and 3 are not affected, and their restrooms remain available for use.
We will share an update as soon as we have more information on the resolution timeline.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Justine Moser is the education program coordinator for Performing Arts Center.
