CFE - Central and Southern Illinois Faculty Development Network Presents: Measurable Learning Outcomes

Measuring learning outcomes is not just an important aspect, but a vital one in ensuring that a college-level course leaves a lasting impact on the students.

In this session, participants will learn how to create clear and specific assessment criteria that will help them to effectively evaluate student performance. They will also gain a deeper understanding of how to use data to make improvements to the course.

CFE - ChatGPT is coming - Architecture, Applications, and Opportunities

This presentation will delve into the world of ChatGPT, a groundbreaking language model developed by OpenAI. With its ability to comprehend and generate natural language, ChatGPT has the capability to engage in a wide range of conversations with users. The presentation will provide an in-depth overview of ChatGPT's architecture, including its evolution, processing techniques, and model structure. Moreover, it will explore the diverse applications of ChatGPT, such as virtual assistants, customer service chatbots, and language translation.

CFE - ChatGPT Series - AI Uses for Marketing

Cameron Ireland leads a discussion about how generative, conversational AI can improve marketing strategies.

We'll cover AI's use in social media, content creation, website development, copywriting, brainstorming, and turning videos into stories. You'll learn how AI can streamline campaigns, improve user experience, and generate fresh ideas for marketing.

The presentation focuses on some of my personal uses at IECC. It also talks about a program that uses GPT’s API, and I break down some notable companies that use this technology for marketing.
