All status (non-probationary) Civil Service employees are invited to submit online nomination forms for this year's Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) election.
Eight positions will be filled this year, each for a two year term. Nomination forms must be received by midnight, June 14, in order to be considered. Self-Nominations are allowed and welcomed.

This session focuses upon enhancing customer service interactions among students, faculty and employees.
The general election will take place this year on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. This day is not designated as a holiday for universities in Illinois. However, time off to vote may be available in accordance with State of Illinois law.

This has a direct impact on the customer service experience of our student, faculty, and staff as well as our broader community.

For departments that want to offer programs to minors (persons under the age of eighteen (18), our Protection of Minors page has detailed information on planning and hosting an event for young visitors.

If you do not want to change health, dental, life or dependent coverage, your current elections will continue. Note: You must enroll or re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts each year.

End of Academic Year Party
We are excited to announce that the theme for the 2024 End of Academic Year Party will be Decades! We encourage you and your colleagues to embrace your favorite decade and join us as we celebrate the end of another academic year at UIS. Costumes are permitted to add an extra flair to the celebration. Prizes will be given for best costumes! If dressing up isn’t your style, come as you are and join us for activities, some good tunes, and even better food!
