It is a comprehensive professional development program based on the Hallmarks of Excellence in the Online Leadership from the University Professional and Continuing Education Association and provides researched best practices and practical insights from recognized leaders. The courses vary in length from 4 to 8 weeks.

ION eLearning professional certificate programs are aligned to best practices in the field of online learning, including the Master Online Leadership Certificate which follows the UPCEA Hallmarks of Excellence in Online Leadership. The continuing education programs consist of courses that are to be completed for continuing education hours. Students earning CEU hours have access to noncredit transcripts.
