Publishers can publish and review content and schedule a page or revision to be published on a future date. Publishers are responsible for reviewing all changes made by editors in their unit, working with editors to identify and resolve issues with accessibility, usability and site content, and publishing page updates once finalized and approved.

It can assist in creating engaging article posts, program descriptions, and marketing copy, as well as improve the overall readability and coherence of your website's content. With its natural language processing capabilities, ChatGPT can also help in generating content for social media, to help further promote and drive traffic to the website.

How to Add or Update your Biography
To add or update a biography for your directory profile,
- Go to https://apps.uis.edu/directory/
- Search your name
- Scroll to the bottom (if needed) and click edit
- Click the ‘Update biography, area of specialization, or area of expertise’ link.

Website editors can gain access to become publishers after they meet the have successfully completed the following criteria:
- At least 20 website updates to the 'Needs Review' queue without error.
- Passes the Mandatory Bi-Annual Publisher Training Quiz with at least 90% or higher.
After you take the quiz we will reach out to schedule publisher training with the Web & Digital Strategy (WDS) team.

To create a Resource, go to Manage > Content > Add content > Resource.
Add your Resource title and content within the editor.
Under 'More settings', add a summary, title caption, Resource type (if you don't see an applicable keyword, new keywords can be added as a comma separated list).
Sign up for website editor training on the new uis.edu website. Training typically lasts an hour and is open to all staff and students.
