The Experimental Psychology Concentration emphasizes scientific research methods and data analysis in understanding behavior. Students design and conduct studies, preparing for careers in research, academia, or industries where psychological insights and analytical skills drive innovation.

The Educational Psychology Concentration focuses on the psychological principles of learning and teaching. Students examine how cognitive and motivational factors influence educational outcomes, gaining skills that are applicable in schools, educational policy, or instructional design to improve the learning experience.

The Developmental Psychology Concentration explores the psychological growth and changes that occur throughout the lifespan. Students learn about cognitive, social and emotional development, preparing for careers in fields such as child psychology, aging and family services, where understanding human development is essential.

The Clinical/Counseling Psychology Concentration prepares students for careers in mental health services by focusing on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders. Students gain a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and psychological theories, equipping them to support individuals in overcoming personal challenges and improving well-being.

A major in psychology provides knowledge of human behavior that prepares individuals for careers in health care, government, business, industry, research and education. Psychology majors share a desire to understand human nature and to have a positive impact on society.
