UIS honors longtime friends of NPR Illinois for their outstanding advocate leadership
The University of Illinois Springfield honored longtime NPR Illinois (WUIS) donors and volunteers Richard and Hannah McDaniel with the University of Illinois Foundation’s William E. Winter Award for Outstanding Advocate Leadership during a Celebration of Philanthropy event on May 1 in the Student Union Ballroom.

The annual Women's Philanthropy Luncheon is an opportunity for women philanthropists to connect and learn about opportunities to support the UIS community.

Each year the William E. Winter Award for Outstanding Advocate Leadership is given to recognize individuals outside the university structure who play active roles in securing private support.
