The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team secured a 1-1 draw against Ohio Dominican on Wednesday, bringing their record to 0-1-2.

• Ohio Dominican took the lead in the 30th minute with a header by Meghan Coakley, assisted by Jordyn Bena off a corner kick
• Despite falling behind, UIS remained persistent and mounted a strong second-half effort
• Kalli Drexler netted her first goal of the season, finishing a cross from Brooke Biffar to bring the game level
• UIS dominated the second half, registering 18 shots compared to Ohio Dominican's 7, but couldn't break the tie
• Drexler, along with Abby Dellamorte and Emily Tully, led the charge offensively, with Tully recording six shots
• Drexler found the back of the net for a second time within two minutes, but the goal was disallowed
• Goalkeeper Allison Mirimanian was solid in net, making five saves to keep the game level
