The UIS volleyball team fell to Harding on Saturday to close out their weekend at the PSU Regional Challenge hosted by Pittsburg State. UIS finishes non-conference play at 8-3 and is preparing for GLVC action at home next weekend.

Match Recap
  • Set 1: UIS started strong, taking an early 15-6 lead and securing a 25-19 set win. Makenna Cox led with eight kills
  • Set 2: The Prairie Stars started the next set with the lead but Harding stayed close behind. UIS managed to secure a narrow 27-25 win, extending their lead to 2-0 in the match. Eirini Glynou added eight kills in the set
  • Set 3: Set three was a clash that finished 33-31 in Harding's favor as Harding's Skyler McKinnon and Maegan Lacy produced crucial points
  • Set 4: The fourth set started evenly, but Harding took control, winning 25-19
  • Set 5: Harding secured the match with a strong 15-8 victory, taking advantage of their offensive rhythm while UIS fought hard to respond
  • Makenna Cox led UIS with 14 kills and 14 digs, while Eirini Glynou added 12 kills. Erica Sledge recorded 36 assists and three service aces.
