The UIS volleyball team picked up another win on Friday night as they swept McKendree at TRAC. With the win, the Prairie Stars improved to 16-8 overall with a 6-4 record in the GLVC. The Bearcats drop to 9-14 overall with a 4-6 conference record.

- Set 1: In a closely contested first set, both teams traded points early on before UIS pulled ahead with a six-point lead at 18-12. McKendree rallied back to tie the score at 22, and the teams continued to trade points, remaining even at 25. Two consecutive attack errors from the Bearcats ultimately gave UIS the edge, securing the set one win

Set 2: UIS jumped out to an early lead in the second set, but McKendree once again fought back to tie the game at 16. The Prairie Stars then regained control, pulling ahead to a 23-19 advantage. Eirini Glynou sealed the set with a decisive kill, giving UIS the win in set two

Set 3: The Prairie Stars raced out to a 10-4 lead in the third set, but the Bearcats stayed resilient, battling back and forth until they tied the score at 18. McKendree then pulled ahead, taking a 21-19 lead. However, UIS responded with decisive kills to reclaim the lead and ultimately secure the set and the match victory
- Kendall Johnson led the Prairie Stars with 13 kills, followed closely by Makenna Cox with 11 and Eirini Glynou with 9. Erica Sledge directed the offense with 34 assists, while Glynou anchored the defense with a team-high 20 digs. Cox also contributed significantly on defense, adding 18 digs
