The Illinois Springfield women's basketball team was defeated 77-43 by Parkside on Saturday afternoon at TRAC. Kayla Rice and Emari Doby led the Prairie Stars with 15 points each, but the team struggled offensively against the Rangers.

• In the final quarter, the Prairie Stars continued to compete, with contributions on both ends from Saharra Murphy and Niyah Udoiwod
• UIS shot 26.2% from the field and 25.0% from beyond the arc, while Parkside averaged 54.5% overall, including 41.2% from three-point range
• Kayla Rice added three steals to her 15 points, while Emari Doby contributed five rebounds alongside her scoring effort
