A portion of the UIS women's track and field team competed at the Cougar Classic hosted by SIUE on Saturday afternoon, facing strong competition from NCAA Division I programs including Saint Louis, Southern Indiana, and Lindenwood.

• Kali Gaden finished 9th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.25.
• Camille Terre was close behind, placing 11th in 2:25.85.
• In her collegiate debut in the steeplechase, Norah Wright placed 8th out of 12 runners, clocking 12:39.21 — a time that currently ranks 7th in the GLVC this season.
