The University of Illinois Springfield is increasing its support for the Springfield community by creating a new downtown Innovation Center. This will be a place where entrepreneurs develop impactful businesses.

As one of the 15 hubs in the Illinois Innovation Network (IIN), the UIS Innovation Center will be designed as a space to drive innovation, economic growth and workforce development throughout Illinois. In particular, the UIS Innovation Center will cultivate entrepreneurial ventures, develop talent, and serve as a thought leader for innovation in our region.
