Dear Faculty and Staff —

I am pleased to share that Rob Kerr has been selected to serve as the inaugural Executive Director of Innovation and Opportunity. He will begin his appointment Aug. 1.

Rob has spent more than 20 years in higher education and economic development and is currently Director of the UIS Office of Continuing and Professional Education. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago and an MBA from Benedictine University, and he is completing his doctorate in public administration at UIS with an emphasis in public policy.
