Bio

Joshua is a career civil servant at the local government level and has served in the local government service and the Ghana Education Service, Ghana for over 14 years.  Joshua serves as the District Development Planning Officer in the Kwahu East District Assembly In this role, Joshua formulates policies and plans for the implementation of approved programs and projects in accordance with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union's Agenda 2063. He plays a leading role in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of planned projects and programs, providing technical assistance on development policy issues to government and multilateral agencies, and coordinating donor-funded projects. Joshua has worked on several projects funded by multilateral institutions and international development agencies. He has served as a teacher and a part-time lecturer with the Ghana Education Service and the Bolgatanga Technical University. As a District Planning Officer, Joshua serves as the Secretary to the District Planning Coordinating Unit, chairman of the Technical Committee of the District Spatial Planning Committee, Chairman of the Disability fund management Committee and member of other committees of the District Assembly. Joshua is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Economists/Global Academy of Financial Management.
