Bio
Emmanuel Sir Odoom is starting his doctoral degree in Public Administration at University of Illinois Springfield in fall 2023. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Sociology at University of Ghana, Legon and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University (CMU). At CMU, He served as a graduate assistant in the office of Curriculum and Instructions. His master Capstone: “Evaluating Transformational Leadership and Employee Performance” allowed him to examine the various leadership styles with much focus on transformational leadership and how it measures employee’s performance. Prior to him pursuing a doctoral program, his field experience includes working in mining firm, social services and being an active member of Project Management Institute. He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate.
Research Interests
Assessing salaried workers and job incentive policies, global welfare policies, racial disparity in trade and business, government contracting and outsourcing, public-private partnerships, institutional welfare, and prison reforms.
