If you have consented to receive your Tax Form(s) electronically by the deadline January 15, 2024, 10:59pm CST, the forms that are issued to you by University of Illinois are now available.

Important Note: Electronic access to tax forms will not be available, regardless of consent, for those attempting to access the forms OUTSIDE the U.S. Likewise, if you recently received your Social Security Number and did not have it updated to your employee record by December 31, 2023, you will not have access to the online tax forms.

ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC FORM W-2, FORM 1042-S and FORM 1095-C

  1. Go to the System HR Services website at https://www.hr.uillinois.edu/  
  2. Select the 'Pay' tab
  3. Click the link 'W-2/1042-S/1095-C Tax Statement' 
  4. Click the 'Access Tax Forms’ green button  
  5. Log in using your NetID and password. 
  6. Click 'Continue
  7. On the Online Tax Forms page, click on the link of the 2023 tax form(s), you will only have access to the forms that are applicable to you.
  8. Click on the ‘Continue to View/Print’ button
  9. Click the blue link of the tax form you want to retrieve (i.e. 2023 1095-C Form, 2023 W-2 Form or 2023 1042-S Form)
  10. Your tax form(s) will display on the screen
  11. To save form(s) click on the ‘Printer icon’
  12. Under printer use the drop-down arrow to select the Adobe PDF
  13. Click on the ‘Print button’
  14. Save the PDF file to a secure location for future reference and/or printing
  15. Click Save
  16. Select ‘Log Out’ to exit

If you receive an error message “online form/report expired” you can:

  • Turn off the Adobe Extension or 
  • Use Incognito mode/ private browsing or
  • Use a different web browser
