Amanda McConnel enjoys the close relationship with professors she is able to get at University of Illinois Springfield. McConnell is part of the women’s volleyball team, the Capital Scholars Honors Program, Pre-Health Society, Exercise Science Organization and research groups. She is also a front desk worker at The Learning Hub. She chose UIS for the small class sizes and successful athletic programs. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a doctorate in occupational therapy.
