Fall 2024 Course Locations and Meeting Rooms
As we gear up for the Fall 2024 semester, here's what you need to know!
- Course Locations: The academic course locations for Fall 2024 will be available in the Dynamic Course Schedule approximately the last week of July. Watch Campus Announcements for the latest information!
- Self-Schedule Meeting Rooms: Faculty and Staff take advantage of the self-schedule meeting rooms! Perfect for groups of up to 14 people, these rooms are ideal for collaboration and teamwork. Visit the F&S website to schedule a room today!
Custodial News
Special Cleaning
Our hardworking Building Service Workers (BSWs) are currently tackling special cleaning projects. With the campus quieter than usual, summer is the perfect opportunity to give our spaces some extra TLC. They will be waxing floors and deep cleaning restrooms across campus. In addition, they will be cleaning classrooms for the fall semester.

Upcoming Projects
Clover 100 & 200 Exterior Renovations - Renovations to the building exteriors of the 100 and 200 buildings in Clover Court are expected to begin in the fall semester. New siding and guttering are improvements you will see with this project.
PAC Roof Replacement - The current roof has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be removed and replaced with new materials. We anticipate work to begin in the fall.

Colonnade Restoration
Beginning July 15, restoration work will start on the Colonnade and surrounding stone fixtures. F&S will collaborate on the restoration with Otto Baum, the contractor who worked on the original construction. The work will involve replacing broken pieces where possible and patching and filling cracks and crevices.
For your safety, barriers, and signage will be placed around the work areas so please use caution when walking in the vicinity. We anticipate the work will be complete mid-to-late August.
Teardrop Stairs
F&S will be repairing the concrete steps on the west side of the PAC teardrop entrance. Age, weather, and foot traffic have taken their toll on these steps. Work will include filling cracks and crevices and replacing crumbling or broken areas.
For your safety, barriers, and signage will be placed around the work areas so please use caution when walking in the vicinity. We anticipate the work will be complete mid-to-late August.
Ongoing Projects
UHB Hot Water System
We are wrapping up the repairs to the hot water system in UHB. Leaks - old and new - were located and fixed. All that remains are fit and finish items, which include replacing the ceiling tiles and patching and painting as needed.
Office of digital accessibility (ODA) Progress
Great progress has been made on the remodeling in Brookens for the Office of Digital Accessibility. Room 437 is almost ready, with new carpet, lighting, and fresh paint on the walls and ceiling. This room will be a great space for the ODA team!
