Beriah Hemingway values the welcoming environment and opportunities for involvement at the University of Illinois Springfield. Hemingway is a resident assistant for Residence Life, captain and vice president of the UIS Cheerleading team and traditions coordinator for the Student Activities Committee. She chose UIS for the range of opportunities it offers. Following graduation, Hemingway plans to attend graduate school and pursue an internship to gain experience in her career field.
