Niamh Grogan values the strong friendships she has made and the experiences she has gained while studying abroad at the University of Illinois Springfield. Grogan works as a student worker at the Student Union, serves as a peer tutor, is a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program and competes on the UIS women’s tennis team. Grogan chose UIS because of the scholarship opportunities and the welcoming environment. “At UIS, I have the opportunity to focus on my studies while playing tennis at a collegiate level,” she said. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in data science.
