Pa Seedy Jammeh loves the academic programs and the encouraging learning environment at the University of Illinois Springfield. Jammeh was able to obtain an internship with the Illinois Department of Public Health through the UIS Graduate Public Service Internship Program (GPSI). He chose UIS because of the leadership and involvement opportunities it offers. After graduation, Jammeh plans to continue working in the public health sector, helping make policies to improve our world.
