Dr. Betsy Goulet ’83 EHS, MA ’92 EHS, DPA ’14 PAA has fought for child protection and welfare for over 30 years. Before joining UIS Public Adminstration Faculty, Betsy was the founding director of the Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center, and worked on legislation with then State Senator Barack Obama. She started the CAST certification program, which led to the creation of a Residential Simulation Lab and the mock courtroom on campus to teach students how to better protect at-risk children and families.
