Kelsey Hall chose the University of Illinois Springfield because it is close to home and she received a Capital Scholars Honors Program scholarship, which made UIS very affordable. She remains active in the honors program and was previously a member of the Alternative Spring Break student organization and worked as a resident assistant. “What I like most about UIS is that it is a small campus, so all of my professors are able to get to know me on a personal level, which I really love!” Following graduation from UIS, she plans to start physician assistant school at the end of May at the SIU School of Medicine.
