The NFCA also released a ranked list of softball teams based on their 2023-24 cumulative grade point average. UIS softball's 3.60 GPA tied for 37th place among NCAA DII softball teams.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. Over 8,000 individuals captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, including 1,510 from NCAA Division II.
