The Stars Room serves children ages 15 months to 2 years of age. Classroom experiences are centered around the children’s emerging experiences.  The environment is designed to serve as the role of “teacher” in that it is inviting and engaging to the children.

The children in the Stars Room interact with the children in the Cardinal Room several times throughout the day.  The children are then familiar with the peers and teachers they will have once they turn two years old and move up to the Cardinal Room.

Our Cardinal Room enrolls children 2 to 3 years of age.  Classroom experiences are centered around the children’s growing interests. The classroom maintains a low student to teacher ratio (1:6 versus 1:8 as required by DCFS), allowing for both individual and group interactions.

The environment is designed to serve as the role of “teacher” in that it is inviting and engaging to the children.  An emphasis of the classroom is focusing on developing each child’s self-help skills including potty training.  One of the goals of the classroom is to prepare the children for a preschool experience.
